Throughout her career, Andrea has dedicated herself to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, drawing from her intimate understanding of the challenges and joys that come with it. Her extensive experience spans roles in Louisiana, Texas, and Ohio, providing her with a deep understanding of regional challenges and opportunities.

Andrea has spent the last nine years at CORE, Inc, where she has served in various roles, culminating in her current position as Executive Director for the past three years. During her tenure at CORE, Inc, Andrea has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to the organization’s mission. She has played a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration among team members, and maximizing the organization’s impact within the community. Mindy Ponder brings nearly two decades of invaluable experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities to her role as Director of Quality Assurance and Program Development at CORE Inc. With a dedicated focus on enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, Mindy has spent the past eight years at CORE Inc., demonstrating unwavering commitment and passion for improving service delivery and ensuring the highest standards of care.

Mindy’s journey in the realm of developmental disabilities has been multifaceted, having worked extensively in residential supports in both the waiver and Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) realms. Her profound understanding of the intricacies of these services has enabled her to spearhead initiatives aimed at optimizing client outcomes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Mindy is a vibrant individual with diverse interests. An avid sports enthusiast, she finds solace and joy in playing volleyball and softball during her leisure time. Her love for sports extends back to her collegiate years at Ohio Dominican, where she not only pursued degrees in Psychology and Sociology but also played fastpitch for the Panthers.
